About Kirsten
I spent 28 years studying one question.
Why do people fail to act even when they want to succeed?
The answer is almost never motivation. It is almost always the path.

The moment SaaS started looking like a classroom.
For most of my career, the question lived inside K–12 classrooms, remote communities, and EdTech platforms. Different rooms, same pattern: people who genuinely wanted to learn, stuck on a path that wasn't built for them.
The first time I sat with a mission-driven SaaS team and watched their activation data, I recognized it immediately. The drop-off wasn't a motivation problem. The users believed in the product. The path to value just wasn't designed for how a human actually moves through it.
That's when the classroom research became a SaaS diagnostic.
Why this background makes the diagnostic better.
Every past context is here for one reason: it's where the Clarity Lens™ was pressure-tested before it ever scored a SaaS activation path.
The same five failure patterns, everywhere
K–12 classrooms. Online higher ed. EdTech platforms. Mission-driven SaaS. Different industries, the same five dimensions where people drop off. That's how I knew it was a system problem, not a content problem.
The methodology is what survived
A Master's in Instructional Design gave me the theory. 28 years of watching real people succeed and fail produced the scoring framework. The Clarity Lens™ is the part that held up in every context.
The methodology
The Clarity Lens™ lives inside the Clarity Adoption Diagnostic™.
The Clarity Lens™ scores your activation path across five dimensions and produces a single Drop-Off Risk Score — a trackable number you can move over time.
Same lens. Same scoring. Every engagement. That's what makes this a product, not opinions.

What you leave with.
The Clarity Adoption Diagnostic™ produces four concrete deliverables — built from the same lens, every engagement.
- Drop-Off Map — A visual of where users actually fall off your activation path.
- Top three friction points by root cause — Not symptoms. The underlying reason each break happens.
- A rebuilt activation moment — Your single most critical step, redesigned through the Clarity Lens™.
- A 30-day action plan — Sequenced for your team to execute immediately.
Who this is for.
We work with SaaS companies built for good. If your product exists to make a real difference — in health, education, the environment, community, financial access, or human potential — low adoption is a mission problem worth solving.
Why I keep doing this work.
I volunteer with adaptive sports programs because resilience and inclusion deserve a stage. Watching someone find their footing — literally — is the clearest reminder of what good path design can do. That instinct, refined over 28 years, is what the Clarity Lens™ formalizes.
